If you're not already generating leads for your business - then you don't have a business. But did you know you can do it on purpose?

Lead gen is simply creating leads for your business, and leads are just the people who are interested in your company’s product or service in any form. We discuss the steps to generate leads and pique the interest of your audience, to convert them into your new favourite client.

 

How do you make lead gen happen on purpose?

There are three simple steps to generating leads.

1.      Be visible to your audience through marketing platforms they use

2.      Give them a good reason to be interested in you and your business

3.      Convert them into your clients

 

Firstly, you need to identify the people you want to work with. These are loyal clients who you want to continuously work with, in the long run.

Next, identify one to three main audiences your business has, and identify what they have in common. This is going to assist in which marketing platforms your business will use to generate leads. Notice where your audience is already looking - could it be Facebook, LinkedIn, face-to-face, or the local newspaper? You will need to have multiple touchpoints to reach your audience, while also keeping in line with your brand.

Lastly, you will need to invite your audience to do business with you, this is the key to converting them.
